Who We Are
Who is The Food Trader?
Phil Brown has been serving the retail trade for over 45 years, having completed an apprenticeship in butchery and successfully running The Meat Man Retail Ltd, a company now managed by his son, Tom Brown. After retiring about eight years ago and becoming bored after just two months, Phil returned to retail, now importing over 30 SKUs from around the world into the discount marketplace and wholesalers.
We have established offices in Poland, Turkey, Spain, Argentina, China, and Vietnam, where we source products on a monthly basis. The Food Trader has also expanded into developing own brand products with customers, which has been a great success across frozen and ambient lines.
